It is a cute saying but also a bit harsh, as if somebody is screaming the truth that I have been blinded to all these years. Yet, I am still not sure I agree with it. To recognize love is probably feasible but is there really only one sort of love? There is the friendship love, the parental love, the love for your lover, the love for children, etc,...And we cannot possibly love two people the same way, so from that perspective there are all sorts of love. However, if we look at the big pictures, love is felt by everybody, everywhere, we all feel love and so we all feel different versions of love or as they say different copies! And we think we are so unique and different from the rest of the world. |
