This is one of my favorites quotes from when I was a teen. I knew it by heart and made it a ritual to recite it before going to bed. I find it really illustrates what was going inside my head and heart and so I decided it was my bible.

Here’s the quote text:

Heavenly God full of grace
Bless my boyfriend’s sexy face.
Bless his hair the way it curls
and keep him safe from the other girls.
Bless his little nose and toes
and keep him safe wherever he goes.
Bless his hands so big and strong
and help him keep them where they belong.
Bless his eyes that shine like stars
and keep his mind on me and cars
Bless his body the way it smells
if dad finds out he’d give me hell.
I’ll tell you lord he isn’t shy.
He has faults but so do I
