I often tried to distinguish between love and sex and mumbled words along the lines of lust is purely physical whereas love is emotional, but to poetically place it in such a way that lust is the love of the outside, what the eyes can see but love is the lust of what is on the inside, what the heart can feel. This romantic quote really gives tribute and proper praise to love. Love is a much higher emotion than lust, if lust is desire and craving often with a sexual connotation, then love is that desire and craving for the person we are on the inside. |
